I was working on the rather painful task of writing up the readme.txt file for our recently released Gallery plugin when I can across a the rather wonderful WordPress Plugin Readme File Generator. Alas I was almost done with my own readme file by this point, but it’s a very useful link for anyone looking to write and publish their own WordPress plugin.
Going forward I”ll be using the generator rather than manually hacking the .txt file manually.
